i agree with others. Just review the entire album. Song by song. You will be glad you did. Then go on to their other albums. Sooner or later you will hit all the other songs where you really like the guitar work, and all the other great music. EDIT. looking over your channel, I see you HAVE reviewed many others. Heavy Metals "Stairway"

The synth at the crescendo is immaculate, and you think it couldn’t get better, then it goes nearly *2 octaves higher* and it sounds like a lonely voice in the void screaming at the top of their lungs to be heard. I’ve never been a huge fan of synth, but the way that Chris manages to condense such… INTENSITY into it makes it almost as though the synth is a lead singer in the song. Crucial in every aspect. Unforgettable. Amazing.

This is one of my favorite songs. Especially like the piano parts. That funny guitar sound was Roger Hodgson's "Wah-Wah" pedal that he used to make the fast sort of "choking" sound. It was actually used mostly in the 70's. (I don't remember hearing it at all in the 80's). This album was released in 1977.

Yes, 2 drummers. The Allman Brothers were Southern Rock, but heavily jazz-influenced, especially lead guitarist Duane, who sadly died in a motorcycle accident just a short time after this concert recording. You should listen more carefully to his solo after his brother Gregg's organ solo and not get distracted by the drumming. I also think their great bassist at that time, Berry Oakley, deserves more attention. Tragically, he too died on a motorcycle a year later, just 3 blocks from where Duane was killed.

That's what the music does to you! Stirs your emotions, makes you cry, makes you laugh, but most of all it makes you appreciate - the skill of ALL the musicians. BTW, Jon also plays guitar, keyboards and harp!

This version is clearly the source for the CD of Live In Leningrad but there are some differences. Either this is edited with bits from other shows on that tour or the CD version is. I'm guessing the latter as many of the different areas are where he is swinging the guitar around here. Cool to see either way. I've seen YJM live around 10 times starting with the Odessey Tour in 1988, from which Live In Leningrad was sourced, to Fall of 2023 and I just bought tix to see him again this Fall. He always improvises live so it's never the same show twice.

He shows up, The hall has a room for him to be private. Staff at the venue is not allowed to talk to him or look him in the eye. His roadie/handler does all the speaking for him. He brings all his equipment and connects to the PA at the hall. He was onstage solo for over two hours and he had a 15 minute break in the middle. They load up get in the van and head out. Strange was there was no real merchandise on sale, t-shirts etc.. Just Buckethead performing. Can't imagin how he did the show in Texas enclosed in that outfit and the head gear without having heat stroke. WoW .. great show just the same.
